Nice hotel

Staff were very friendly. Hotel is good value. Breakfast buffet is descent. Not worth the $15 individually but worth it if you make your reservation with the breakfast included

Hotel is on a one way street. Traffic can be a little crazy during the morning. Don't miss the entrance or you'll have to go around. Takes about 15 minutes!

Comfortable and roomy

they have a casino which is pretty good. Didn't win much though. The restaurant ok just ok. The service was so-so. wait staff wasn't too pleasant. Maybe he was having a bad day... The hotel is nice. Some construction was going on when we were there. The checking was very good; the security is good; the gift shop was very good and kudos to the staff for being helpful and accommodating. The rooms are very large, AC works good, Hot water and showers were very good. jacuzzi rooms are good... had a great time there.

I guess because of the construction things will get better, but some of the furniture and fixtures were dated, everything worked ok. I wish the restaurant had more variety of foods and better staff

Overall it was ok for one night

Breakfast was ok, I stayed close in the area at another hotel which had an amazing breakfast. I’m sorry to tell you guys it needs to improve a lot more specially for the price which I get everything went up.

Room was fine for 1 night because we arrived late at night in SJ.

It was super close to the airport.

The recommended on site restaurant was awful and expensive. Food took forever and pasta was hard, pizza was soggy, and chicken tenders were weird. Spent our first $100 in CR on yuck.

Our stay was pleasent with a few minor things

I love the bed, proximity to the airport and amenities on site.

The airport shuttle was 20 mins late.

It was a good place to sleep.

The beds were really comfortable. The staff were very nice and doing their best despite being understaffed!! The breakfast was great.

There was a pile of pillows on the bed with no covers when we arrived. It took hours for them to get covered and organized. We had no large towels and despite asking for them, they never arrived with them. The few places to eat never had space and never had enough pp on staff working. So the service was slow and the food arrived cold or not what we ordered. They always did their best to fix things but it just kept happening. You could hear everything if you turned the AC off. The hotel is in disrepair. It needs updating and refurbishing. Looks kind of depressing. The breakfast was the best meal available and the nicest space to enjoy a cool breeze… two of the restaurants were closed entirely. I got the impression that the staff was overworked and underpaid! Which was too bad cause they really were doing their best to make up for the lack of support.

Rooms were really comfy

Breakfast was not good, Poor options to be a buffet and the ones available were not tasty at all. Also too pricy 15 dolars are not worth it. Jacuzzi didn’t heat the water enough one day and it was dirty.

Old fashioned decor. The curtains let the light shine through in the morning. The AC was very old and made a horrible sound all night.

Good value for money.

The entrance to the hotel is quite grand and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were quiet and beds comfortable. There is a very nice gift store in the foyer with several options for dining.

There were areas of the hotel that showed considerable wear and tear and although originally built to be a luxury convention centre, the facility is definitely showing its age. The food options are limited if you are on a restricted diet with a lot of the food heavy in saturated fats/oils. The complex itself is huge and it is quite easy to get lost. The better your command of the Spanish language, the more enjoyable your stay will be.
